It’s time you consider some Jende diamond films for putting the edge back on your knives. Super abrasion-resistant steels and ceramic blades are becoming more common in the kitchen and workplace, and while they hold they edges exponentially longer than conventional steel knives, they will eventually need sharpening and maintenance. Diamonds are one of the only abrasives that can be successfully used to sharpen these blades – and they do it with ease. And since diamonds are the hardest substance in the world, Jende Diamond Films can unquestionably be used on any kind of knife!
Depending on your specific needs, we’ve grouped them into some recommended diamond film sets:
- The Polishing set - Is comprised of 15, 9, 6, 3, 1, and 0.5 micron films, and is a comprehensive set equipped for the maintenance of general edge and regular repair work. The edges from this set are bound to impress.
- The Standard set – Is comprised of 45,30, 15, 9, 6, and 3 micron films. It’s considered an “all around” set capable of handling repairs and profiling new knives. The 3 micron film finish produces a mirror finish, and leaves an ideal edge for most knife and tool applications.
- The Coarse set - Is comprised of 80, 60, 45, 30, 15, and 9 micron films. This coarse set is meant for some serious work like cleaning up scratches from belts, removing chips, and profiling. The 9 micron film leaves a great “working sharp” edge that still does some serious cutting.
