Designed to accommodate users who sharpen or maintain knives with strops, or utilize minimal stones before stropping, the Max Concentrations serves a more aggressive abrading purpose than standard finish and maintenance stropping emulsions. This formulation acts as a liquid sharpening stone used within a stropping framework, with added coarser 15 micron, 12 micron, and 8 micron grits, suitable for edges primarily operating within the 1K (15 micron) to 2K (8 micron) range.
Optimal Pairing with Jende Nanocloth, Rough Cow, Cow, and Kangaroo Strops
For the 15, 12, and 8 micron max emulsion, we recommend using our Jende Rough Leather knife strops. The Jende Cow Leather strops pair well with the 4, 2, and 1 micron max emulsion, while the Jende Kangaroo strops complement the 0.5, 0.25, and 0.10 micron max emulsions for an effective sharpening experience.
