The Master Kuo G5 Extra Large Taiwan Tuna Knife is expertly crafted for decapitating large fish and segmenting the body into steaks. Its technique involves pushing the heel of the blade into the fish and smoothly rolling it forward to complete the cut or swiftly zipping through lengthy lateral cuts.

Constructed with 3-layered laminated steel, the outer layer is stainless, while the inner core features traditional Japanese High Carbon SK5 steel with an impressive RC hardness of 60-61.

Care Instructions:
To maintain its performance, clean the knife with warm water and soap, towel drying immediately. Avoid dishwashers, as the stainless-clad outer steel resists rust, but the exposed SK5 core edge steel may develop surface rust over time. Most surface rust can be removed by sharpening the edge. While Master Kuo knives are exceptionally sharp, our professional sharpening services can enhance their performance further. We recommend the 2000 and 5000 Grit services, and you also have the option to add a custom-made leather sheath.
